Dr. Sam E. Cigno

Having the ability to help people achieve better health and increase their self-esteem is not something that Dr. Sam Cigno takes lightly. Working with so many people is what keeps dentistry exciting because each patient presents new possibilities and new experiences. Each day in the office allows him to do what inspires him the most: helping people, always experiencing new and exciting things, and constantly learning. This keeps Dr. Cigno passionate about dentistry.

Dentistry gives Dr. Cigno the opportunity to continually grow and learn, both behaviorally and technically. While he earned his formal education from Washington University in St. Louis, his lifelong journey towards knowledge has never stopped. As a member and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and a Senior Master Affiliate of Fastbraces, the 1st in Missouri to achieve, Dr. Cigno strives to bring cutting-edge technology into his practice for the benefit of his patients.

Dr. Cigno’s dedication to the people of his community extends beyond his regular office hours. He and his team participate in Dentistry from the Heart, a national program that provides free dental care to those in need. Dr. Cigno and his team are also proud partners with the Missouri Mission of Mercy; and have provided dental care to children of Covenant House on a monthly basis. St. Louis has been Dr. Cigno’s home his entire life, and he is happy to serve the people in this great community.

When he is not in the office, Dr. Cigno enjoys skiing, reading, and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Christine, have been blessed with five children (Joe, Tony, Maria, Gina, and Tom) and eight wonderful grandchildren.
